2、eypartofcommunication,radarandmicrowaveapplicationsystem,andfindswideuseinmanyfields.TherearegreatchallengesforRFICs,thecorepartsoftheRFcommunicationproducts.HigherlevelintegrationhasbecomethemustsolutionoftheRFICstoachievelowercostsandbetterperformances.Conseq
3、uently,theintegrationofpowermanagementfunctionintoRFICsisdefinitelyandinevitablyanimportantdirectionofthedevelopmentofRFICs.Inthisthesis,theresearchanddesignoftheintegratedlow-noisepowermanagementforRFreceiverchips,basedonCMOSprocess,hasbeenintroduced.Thesource
4、ofpowersupplynoiseanalysisisgiven.Basedonthisanalysis,apowerdomainpartition,targetingonsuppressingtheon-chipsupplynoise,isintroduced.Differentpowersupplyblockisappliedfordifferentcircuittoalleviatethesupplynoisecoupling.Combinedtheadvantageofbandgapreferenceand
5、thethresholdvoltage(VTH)voltagebiascircuit,aultralownoisevoltagereferencewithdigitalcalibrationisdesigned.Thisvoltagereferencecircuitcanachievebothultralowoutputnoiseandhighaccuracy.Inaddition,theon-chipLDOforbothanalog/RFanddigitalcircuithasbeendesigned.Thecir
6、cuitsandlayoutoftheproposedintegratedlownoisepowermanagementsystemforGPSRFreceiverchiphavebeendesignedandpost-simulatedbySMIC0.18umCMOStechnology.Theproposedpowermanagementsystemhastheadvantageofultralownoise,highreliability,highintegrationanddigitalcontrolled.
