3、iveunderthesituation.Alotofresearchprovedthattheutilizationofpolymermodifiedasphaltisanefficientapproachtosolvethisproblem.SBSmodifiedasphalthasplayedanimportantroleintherapiddevelopmentofhighway,withitsexcellentproperties.However,SBSmodifiedasphaltispronetobeingunstableduringhotstoragewh
4、ichpresentanobstacletoitsdevelopment.Thisarticlebasesontheinternalandextrernalstudies,aimingattheprematuredestruetionalphenomenonofasphaltpavementinHebeiprovince,asphaltwasmodifiedbyutilizingSBS,theconventionalpropertiesandstoragestabilityvariablelawofSBSmodifiedasphalt.Andinallusiontothe
5、characteristicofbadstoragestabilityofSBSmodifiedasphalt,inordertodecreasethedensitydifferencesandincreasetheconsistencybetweenSBSandasphalt,thebuiltmodifiedasphaltwereobtainedbyaddingthesilicahydratedandmetallicsoapintoSBSmodifiedasphalt,theoptimalcontentcanbedeterminedandtheSBSmodifiedas
6、phaltwithhigh—temperaturestoragestabilitvcanbegained,butthepreconditionisthattheoriginalperformanceishardlyefIfected.Themicrostructureofmodifiedasphaltwasanalyzedbyfluorescencemicroscope.TheresultsshowedthattheSBSmodifiedasphalthadthepropertiesofhigh—temperaturebehavior,low.temperatureper
7、formance,andsensitivityfortemperature,butthestoragestabilitywasnotwell;thestoragestability,high—temperaturebehaviorandsensitivityfortemperatureofSBSmodifiedasphaltwereimprovedbvsilicahydratedandmetallicsoapinadifferentdegree,theimprovedeffectonitsstoragestabilitybym
