1、IISSSLSetup1.Pre-configurationrequirementsBeforeconfiguringIISforSSLyoumustassignadomainnametotheserverthatisrunningIIS.2.CreateanSSLcertificaterequestOpentheIISManagerandexpandtheWebsitestab.RightclickthewebsitethatyouareinstallingtheSSLcertificateforandselectProperties.Inthewebsiteproperti

2、esbox,selecttheDirectorySecuritytab,andpresstheServerCertificatebutton.ThisstartstheWebServerCertificateWizard,presstheNextbuttonatthewelcomescreen.Selecttheoptiontopreparetherequest,butsenditlater,andselecttheNextbutton.Enteranameforthecertificate,andselectabitlengthfortheencryptionkey.NOTE

3、:Itisrecommendedthatyouselectabitlengthof1024orlargerfortheencryptionkey.EntertheOrganizationnameandOrganizationunitthatthecertificateisforandselectNext.NOTE:Thesevalueswillbedisplayedonthecertificateandcannotbechangedoncethecertificatehasbeencreated.Makesurethesearespelledcorrectlyandreflec

4、tthevaluesyouwantbeforeproceeding.EntertheCommonnametobeusedonthecertificate.Thismustbethedomainnamethatyousetupfortheserverduringthepreconfigurationstage.NOTE:Thedomainnameonthecertificatemustmatchthedomainnameoftheserverorthesslhandshakewillfail.Youcannotchangethedomainnameonthecertificate

5、onceithasbeensigned.EnsurethatthisistheCommonnameyouenterisnotmisspelledandhasthecorrectvalue.EntertheCountry/Region,State/Province,andCity/localitytobedisplayedonthecertificateandselectNext.NOTE:Thesevaluescannotbechangedoncethecertificatehasbeensigned.Ensurethatthevaluesyouenteredarecorrec

6、tbeforeproceeding.Enterthedirectoryandfilenamewherethecertificaterequestshouldbesaved,andselectNext.Asummaryofthecertificaterequestwillbedisplayed,ifalloftheinformationiscorrectselectNext.NOTE:Noneoftheinformationonthecertificatecanbemodifiedoncetherequesthasbeencreated.Ensurethatalloftheval
