5、onitoringandwarningofdisastrousweathersuchasheavyrainandhails,theoperationsguidanceandeffectevaluationofweathermodification,andthemanagementsofreservoir,urbanareaandaviationetc.,therefore,ithasahugepotentialintheremotesensingofcloudsandpre2cipitationandinnowcasting.Comparedtoordina
6、ryDopplerweatherradars,dualpolarimetricradarhaveaverydistinctadvantageinthequantitativeestimationofprecipitation,however,theradarsignalattenuationisanimportantshortcomingwhichhampersthewideapplicationofX2Bandradar,especiallyinprecipitationestimate.Variouskindsofsignalattenuationcor
