5、11,andtheannualpopulationdynamicswereanalyzedincombinationwithdatafromdailyfieldsurveysconductedbetween1961-1976andtherecentyearsafter2000.Theresultswereasfollows:1)withsixgenerationsperyearinShaoguanCity,C.medinalishadtwomaindensitypeakswhichoccurredinearlyandmiddleJuneonearly-seasondouble-cropping
6、paddyfield,andinlateAugustandearlySeptemberonlate-seasondouble-croppingpaddyfield;2)thepopulationcharacteristicsofC.medinalisforeachgenerationweredetermined;3)thedateofmothdensitypeakbetween1961-1976and2000-2011hadnosignificantdifference,butsince2000,meandailyamountofC.medinaliswassignificantlyhighe
7、rthanthatinpeakdaysofearlyricefrom1961to1976inQujiangDistrict,GuangdongProvince;4)theoccurrencefrequencyofthehighestmothdensitypeakinearly-seasondouble-croppingpaddyfieldwashigherthanthatinlate-season
