4、ulationdistributionandthephysiologicalracecompositioninmajorricegrowingregionsinChinaaresummarized.PhysiologicalracesofM.griseaZF,ZD,ZEandZAwerethedominantpopulationsinNortheastChinaricegrowingregions,withtheoccurringfrequenciesof23.2%,22.2%,15.6%and12.3%,respectively.Hi
5、ghpathogenicityvirulentpopulationsofZAandZBarethemajorstrainsinSouthwestChinarice-producingregions,theoccurrencefrequencyofZBandZAreached53%and22.3%inSichuanProvince.InGuizhouProvince,theracesofZB,ZAandZGwerethedominantpopulationswithoccurrencefrequencyof41.4%,18.5%and10
6、.7%,respectively.ZBandZCwerethemajorpopulationsinsouthChina’sricegrowingareaswiththeoccurrencefrequency28.0%and37.0%.WeakvirulenceracesofZE,ZFandZGwerethemajorpopulationsinNorthChinaricegrowingregionswiththeoccurrencefrequencyof21.5%,22.1%and44.3%.RacesofZB,ZG,ZCandZAwer
7、ethedominantpopulationsinEastChinariceplantingareaswiththeoccurrencefrequencyof43.3%,25.0%,13.9%and12.3%,respectively.ThemajorpopulationsincentralChinawereZA,ZB,ZEandZC,withtheoccurrencefrequencyof34.9%,28.8%,21.4%and14.1%,respectively.FewricewereplantedinnorthwestChina,
