1、摘要在经济发展过程中，经济空间处于不断的演变过程中。在不同阶段，把握经济空间结构演变趋势，对于经济空间布局、区域发展战略的制定，实现区域发展最佳效益，具有重要意义。本文以县域为基本空间研究单元，以人均GDP为衡量指标，研究了湖南省经济空间结构演变过程。采用空间自相关模型和线性回归模型，分析了湖南省经济增长的空间相关性，集聚格局以及经济效应。结果表明，上世纪80年代中期以来，湖南省经济空间结构处于快速变动时期。呈现以下特点：①经济正处于空间集聚阶段，呈现出明显的中心——外围模式。②经济空间结构出现多经济中心现象，而且经

2、济中心处于更替过程中。③从区域经济关联看，湖南省经济增长的空间相关程度不强。各市区对周围县域经济带动不明显，区域经济存在很强的极化效应；扩散效应只存在于经济发展水平较高的县域集聚区，并且扩散的强度和空间范围较小。从工业化、城镇化、宏观政策方面探讨了湖南省区域经济空间结构演变的因素，工业化对湖南省经济空间结构演变的起重要作用，政府的宏观区域政策对经济空间结构影响深远，城镇化带来的经济空间集聚对区域经济空间结构演变影响力有增大的趋势。在以上分析的基础上，提出建立科学合理的“三圈层’’城市空间等级体系，完善全省“点一轴"结
