1、ABSTRACTWiththeintensiveglobalenergysituationandtheenvironmentproblembeingincreasinglyserious，distributedgenerationwiththefeatureoflowenergyconsumption，cleanenvironmentandflexiblepowersupplyhavebeenattachedimportanceandusedwidelyinrecentyears．Alargenumberofdistributedgeneration

2、saccesstodistributionnetworkhavechangedthestructureandoperationmodeofdistributionnetwork，whichbroughtmuchinfluencetothecurrentfaultlocationmethodsorevenmadethelocationmethodsjudgewrong．Solutionoftheproblemoffaultlocationfordistributionnetworkwithdistributedpowerhasgreatsignific

3、anceforimprovingthereliabilityofdistributionnetworkandpromotingthedevelopmentofdistributedgeneration．Inthispaper，thestableandtransientfeaturesoffaultindistributionnetworkwithdistributedgenerationaretheoreticalresearchedandanalyzed．Theresultofsimulationanalysisshowtwoconclusions

4、indistributionsystemswithdistributedgeneration．First，ifthebranchofpositive，negativeandzerosequenceoffaultcurrentinthepositivedirectionthatassociatewithmulti-branchnodeCangetthelargestintegratedamplitude，whichwouldbethefaultbranch．Thesecond，thetransientprocessoffaultalsocontains

5、alotofhigh—frequencycharacteristicsofinformationthatwouldindicatethedirectionoffault．Sincewaveletanalysishasgoodcharacteristicsofbothlocalizedoftime·frequency,whichcandecomposethesignalintodifferentfrequencybands，SOthatwaveletanalysiswereparticularlysuitedtoanalysisofnon·stable

6、signalsandtransientsignals．Thezerosequencecurrentofeachbranchthatassociateswithmulti—branchnodeWassimulatedbyusingwaveletanalysis．Theresultsofsimulationshowthatthebranchinthepositivedirectionthatassociatewithmulti-branchnodewouldbethefaultonlywhenthetransientzerosequencecurrent
