2、printinganddyeing,theremediationandtreatmenttoheavymetalcontaminationhasbecomeaworld-wideenvironmentalproblembecauseoftheeverincreasingheavymetalcontaminantsintourbanriverandevenitspotentialdangertohumanbeings.Inordertoremediateheavymetalinurbansewageriversediment,plantingexperim
3、entandaddinghydrogenperoxidetreatingresearchwereconductedtOstudyphytoremediationoflead,cadmium,copper,zinc,manganeseandnickelinsedimentbyLoliummultiflorumandmaize.ResultsshowedafterplantingLoliummultiflorumthetotalconcentrationofheavymetalanddifferentformsofheavymetalcouldbechang
4、ed.Inaddition,theeffectofrhizosphere,microorganismandureaseactivityinsedimentcouldalsohelptouptakeandtranslocationtoheavymetalfromsedimenttoplants:Moreimportantwastheamountsandkindsofheavymetalordifferentformsheavymetalafteraddinghydrogenperoxidetreatingwerelargelychanged.Heavyme
5、talsinsedimentwereactivatedefficientlyandtheabilityofaccumulationandtranslocationtoheavymetalsincreasedfromsedimenttoplants.Throughtheresearchofuptakeandaccumulationofheavymetalindifferentpansofplant,resultsshowedtheroot,stemandleafhaddifferentphytoremediationmechanismtoheavymeta
6、l.Eventhoughextendingplantingtimecouldmaketheamountofheavymetalinplantincreased,efficiencyofremediationdecreaseddramatically.Thekindsandamountsoforganicsinsedimentchangedgreatly.Morerhizosphereexudatesandmicroorganismsalsohelpedtoincreaseaccumulationofheavymetalinplants.Theactivi
