4、ementedinthefully-coupledhydro-morphodynamicalnumericalmodelofKeywords:Fully-coupledmorphodynamicsBrigantietal.(2012a).OpenboundaryFirstly,thegenerationandabsorptionofsinglemonochromaticwavesarestudiedtoquantifytheerroraftertheAbsorbing-generatingboundaryconditionsreflectedwaveexitedthedomain.In

5、allcasestheerrorisalwayssmall,givingevidenceoftheeffectivenessoftheNon-LinearShallowWaterEquationsnewseawardboundaryconditions.ExnerequationFurthermore,thepropagationandreflectionofamonochromaticwavetrainoveramobilebedareconsidered.Bothflowevolutionandbedchangearenotaffectedbyspuriousoscillations

6、whenlongsequencesofwavesaretested.Additionally,averylowmobilitybedisconsideredtosimulatea‘virtuallyfixed’bedandnewbound-aryconditionresultsconsistentlyconvergetothoseforthehydrodynamiconlycase.Finally,thereflectionofauniformboreoveramobilebedisstudied.ForthiscasetheRankine–Hugoniotcondi-tionsprov
