2、integrationhasbecomeanimportantcharacterofeconomicdevelopmentsincethewarandalsoanobjectiveandinevitabletrendofcurrenteconomicdevelopmentintheworld.Astwoimportanteconomicbodiesofdevelopingcountries,ChinaandASEAN(theAssociationofSouthEastAsianNations)signedtheFrameworkAgreementonChina-ASEANComprehens
3、iveEconomicCooperationonNovember4th,2001,andwillestablish“China-ASEANFreeTradeArea(CAFTA)”before2010.Andthissouth-southfreetradeareatobeformedbetweenthemwillbethethirdlargestFTAoftheworldimmediatelyafterUNandNAFTA.Thisisapositiveresponseofthetwobodiestothetrendofregionaleconomicintegration,andisagr
4、eatactofdevelopingregionaleconomiccooperationwithneighbors,afterChinaaccededtoWTO,andisalsoagreateventinthecourseofmodernizationdevelopmentinSouthAsia,whichwillexertaninestimableinfluenceonAsiaandthepolitical&economicpatternoftheworld.GuangxiislocatedattheuniondepartmentofChinaandASEAN,andisbecomin
5、ganimportantgatewayofthemdaybyday.Facedwiththenewformsofdevelopment,itisnecessarytoseizetheopportunities,exerttheadvantages,accelerateeconomicdevelopmentofGuangxi,andmakefulluseoftheroleandstatusGuangxiplayingintheChina-ASEANFreeTradeArea.Fromtheperspectiveofregionaleconomicintegrationandinternatio
6、naleconomiccooperation,thispaperregardsthetradeeffectsbroughtbyChina-ASEANFreeTradeAreaasthestudyobject,andusesqualitativeandquantitativestudyingmethod.Atfirst,theauthorsimplyintroducesthebackgroundofestablishmentofCAFTA,andmakesananalysisonimportandexporttradestructurebetweenChinaandothermembercou
