3、retherisingbehaviorofthesinglebubbleincarboxymethylcellulose(CMC)solutiontoob-tainthetrajectoryandtherisingvelocityofthebubble.Meanwhile,basedonthevolumeoffluid(VOF)model,numericalsimulationhasbeenconductedtostudytherisingprocessofthesinglebubbleinCMCsolution,andtheinfluence
4、oftherisingbubbleonthevelocityfieldofthesur-roundingliquidphasehasbeeninvestigated.Accordingtotheexperimentalresults,therheologi-calpropertyhasgreatinfluenceontherisingbehaviorofsinglebubbleinCMCsolution.ItisshownthattherisingvelocityofthebubbleintheCMCsolutionswithdifferent
5、weightpercentagehasdifferentvariationpatterns.ThevalueofthesteadyrisingvelocitydecreaseswiththeincreaseoftheweightpercentageoftheCMCsolution.ThestrengthoftheoscillationgrowsweakerwiththeincreaseoftheweightpercentageofCMCsolutionandeventuallytendstoascendalongastraightline.Th
6、esimulationresultswellpredictthebubble’srisingprocessinCMCsolutionwithdifferentweightpercentage.Furthermore,thesimulatedresultsshowthatthebubblegeneratesalternatevortexinCMCsolutionwithlowerweightpercentageasbubbleswingsup,whileintheCMCsolutionwithhigherweightpercentage,thef
