2、entrifugalcompressorneedsmorestrictresearchfordesign.Basedonthedemand,3DflowfieldinsideacentrifugalcompressorstageisanalyzedutilizingCFDinthispaper.Firstly,thestructureofCFDandtheprocessofsimulationisinterpreted.AndcombiningwithFLUENTsoftware,thegovernequations,turbulence
3、models,methodsofdiscretization,discretizationschemsandsolutionsofdiscreteequations,whichareusedinsimulationsofflowfieldinturbomachinery,areanalyzed.Secondly,acentrifugalcompressorstageisdesignedbasedon1Dmethodand3DflowfieldinsidethestageissimulatedusingFLUENTsoftware.Thei
4、mpellerandthereturnchannelareemphasized.Afterthesimulation,someconclusionsaregot.Fortheimpeller,largeinletcurvatureradiusofshroudcanenhancetheperformanceofstageinsomedegree;appropriatenegativeangleofattackcangetgoodperformancefor2Dimpeller;Comparingwith2Dimpeller,3Dimpell
5、ercanenhancetheperformanceremarkableandtheoptimumworkconditionof3Dimpellermovesinthedirectionoflargerfluxandlargerpressureratio.Forreturnchannel,inletangleofbladehasaremarkableimpactontheperformance,and0°angleofattackcangetgoodperformance;bladestylehasamanifestimpactonthe
6、performance,andthebladeofvariablewidthisbetterthanthatofconstantwidth.Sequently,3DflowfieldsofsomenormalductfittingsaresimulatedutilizingFLUENT.Loss-coefficientsofthesefittingsaregenerated.Comparingthedatasimulatedwiththecoefficientsinhandbook,itshowsthatCFDcancomputeflow
