3、stthehugelaWdatavolumeofadatawarehouseresultsinunacceptablequeryperformance．Thesolutiontothisproblemisgoringmaterializedviewsinthewarehouse，whichpre-aggregatethedataandthusavoidlawdataaccessandspeedupqueries．TIlisthesisworksonallimportantaspectofphysicaldesigningofdatawarehouse：theselectionofmat
