2、EffectofNucleatingAgentsonCrystallizationModificationofPETAbstractThepaperstudiedtheeffectofdifferentkindsofnucleatingagentssuchastalc,ionomerSurlynandsodiumbenzoateonthecrystallizationbehaviors,crystallizationkinetics,crystalstructureandmechanicalpropertyofpolyethyleneterephthalate(PET).Thenon-c
3、rystallizationkineticsandcrystallizationkineticsofPETwerestudiedbyOzawaequationandAvramiequation,Hoffmantheory,respectively.ThemorphologyandstructureofpurePETandPET/nucleatingagentblendswasinvestigatedbyPolarizingOpticalMicroscope(POM)andXRayDiffraction(XRD).Theeffectofthethreekindsofnucleatingag
4、entsonmechanicalpropertyofPETwascompared.AccordingtoDSCandanalysisofthecrystallizationkinetics,forPET,thetemperatureofcoolingcrystallizationTccdecreasedandthetemperatureofheatingcrystallizationTmcincreasedafterthethreekindsofnucleatingagentsaddedin,whilethecrystallizationrateKdistinctlyincreased.
