4、nventionalthree-pointbendingbeamtest,thesingleedgecrackedbeam(SECB)maybefracturedonlyduetogravityitself.Evenifnofracturefailureofspecimenoccursbeforetest,theinfluenceofthegravityofthespecimenontestresultscannotbeignoredbecauseitisnotlittleenoughcomparedwithfractureload.Inthisstudy,animprovedmethodof
5、three-pointbendingbeamloadingtestissuggested,whichcanavoidthefracturefailurebeforetestandremovetheinfluenceofthegravityofthespecimenbecausetheloadingdirectionishorizontal.Basedontheimprovedmethod,anapparatustodeterminefracturetoughnessKICofsoilisdeveloped.Theapparatusdoeshaveverysimplestructure,buti
