2、ors.sonodeself-localizationbecomesoneofthesupportingtechniquesforWSNs.Therearethreefundamentalnodeself-localizationalgorithmsforWSNs.i.e.,Centroid,DV-Hop,andDV-Distance。whicharethebasesofmanyimprovedalgorithms.However,theseproposedalgorithmsonlyfocusonnodeself-localiza
3、tionfor2Dnetworks.PracticalnodesofWSNsaregenerallyarrangedin3Dscenariossuchasinspace,underwater,oronhillyterrains,ratherthanonpure2Dflats.thus3Dpositioninformationofnodesiscommonlyrequired.Nodeself-localizationalgorithmsfor3DWSNsaremainlyresearchedinthisthesis.Basedon2
4、DlOCalizationalgorithms,i.e.,Centroid,DV-Hop,andDV-Distance,thecorresponding3Dlocalizationalgorithms,i.e.,3D—Centroid,3D—DV-Hop,and3D—DV-Distanceareproposedinthisthesis.Averagelocalizationerror,coverage,andthenumberofmessagesexchangedareevaluatedastheperformancecritemf
5、orlocalizationalgorithmswithaC++simulationplatform.Foreachpairoflocalizationalgorithms,firstlytheperformanceofthe2Dalgorithmon2Dplatsispresented,andthentheperformanceofthe2Dalgorithmandthe3Donein3DspacesiScomparedoncomparableconditions.TheWOrkofthisthesisindicatesthat。
