3、basedontheanalysisofthelackoftraditionaldebrisflowriskassessment.TakingDujiangyanCity,SichuanProvinceasthestudyareaandDEM,remotesensingimagesandotherinformationasbasicinformation,thisarticleaimstoexploreofGISintheapplicationofriskassessmentofdebrisflowme

6、importanttoexecuteriskassessmentfordebrisflow[Liu,G.X.,2012].Thetraditionalmethodsofdebrisflowriskassessmentmainlyincludegeologicalmapping,fieldexploration,indoorandoutdoorexperiments[Domenicc,T.andLaura,T.,2004].Thereareinadequaciesasfollows.(1)Traditio
7、nalriskassessment,simplyexpressinganddescribingriskinwordsornumbers,cannoteffectivelyexpressthespatialdistributionofrisk.(2)Theevaluatedresultsoftendisplayavalueinanareaoravalley,anditisdifficulttodistinguishthedifferencesandrefinementrequirementsofriski
8、nthedifferentspatialpositions.(3)Evaluationresultsarenotreliablebecauseoftheinterferenceofhumanfactorsintheevaluationprocess.(4)Furtherworkmusttobedoneifwemakeevaluationresultsdirectlyusedforriskmanagementanddecision-makin
