3、dem,LAN,haveprovidedhigherbandwidthandwidelyused,theystillcannotsatisfyusers’requestsandhavenoabilitytoprovideenoughbandwidthfornewnetwork’Sservicessuchasvideomeeting,VOIP,刚andSOon,henceanewbroadbandaccesstechniqueisneededtosatisfyusers’demandsofbandwidthinthefuture.Asthef
4、iberhastheadvantagesoflow-cost,broadbandwidth,powerfulresistingjammingabilityetc,itisverysuitabletobethetransportmediaofhigh-speedbroadbandnetwork.ThankingoftheactualityoftheIPnetworkandtheabilityofPONtransport,EPONisregardedasoneofthemainsolutiontoimplementfuturebroadband
5、accessnetwork.DynamicbandwidthallocationoftheuplinkhasbecomeahottechniqueinEPONsystemduetotheuplink'sONUsharingbandwidthtopologystructure,whichhasgreatsignificancetoreducepacketdelayandimproveQualityofService.Firstly,thisthesisintroducesthedevelopmentoftheaccessnetwork,som
