3、militarysurveillance;environmentalmonitoring;medicalsanitation;physiologicalmonitoring;smartspaces;tragedysalvation.Anditalsohasbeenhighlyvaluedbyacademicandindustrialfields.Timesynchronizationisafundamentalserviceforbothdesignandapplicationofwirelesssensor
4、networks.However,thecomplexity,energy,costandsizeconflictsbetweentraditionalalgorithmsuchasNTPandGPSandWSNprohibittheiruseinWSN.Becauseofthecost,powerandsizeconstraintsoftheindividualnodes,therearemanynewchallenges.Developingtimesynchronizationmethodssuitab
5、leforwirelesssensornetworkshaveattractedwideattention.First,thenecessity,fundamentalprinciplesandthekeyfactorsofthetimesynchronizationinWSNareanalyzedinthisthesis.Thenthesynchronizationtechnologyisclassifiedandsomerepresentiveandadvantagealgorithmsaredeeply
6、discussedandstudied.Basedonthese,anovelandlowcosttimesynchronizationalgorithm,whichissuitablefordensenetwork,ispresented.Itcombinedunidirectionalreferencebroadcast,pair-wisemechanismandleasttwicemulti仔equencyevaluationSOthatonlyonenodeinbroadcastdomainneeds
7、timesynchronizationtOit.Time-stampingatMAClayerandfrequencyevaluationmakeitachievesagoodprecisionandlowerenergy.ComparedtoRBSandTPSN,ouralgorithmreducecommunicationmessagegreatly,savesalotofenergyandgotafeatureofhighprecisioninlongtermtime.Fromtheresultsofs
