2、tion．Tomeettheneedsofmodernmanufacturingusers，thestructureofCNC(ComputerNumericContr01)isbeingchangedenormously．TheopenarchitectureCNCsystembasedonPCisbeingusedmoreandmorewidelyinNCmachine．ResearchanddevelopmentofcontrolsoftwareofSOFTCNCsystemisamainpartofSOFTCNCsystemR&Dproject．Ba

3、sedonOSECarchitecture，thissystemadoptsthemodelof"universalPC+connectingboard”．Thedesign,integrationandimprovementofcontrolsoftwareofNCsystemarethemaincontentsofthisthesis．Theopenness，structuralmodel，operatingplatformandsoftwarestructurearediscussedindetailandthegrossstructureandfun

4、ctiondemandsarealsoimproved．Themaincontentsofthisthesisarefollowed：ByanalyzingthestructureandcharacteristicsofCNCsystemsoftware，combinedwithnewtrendandneedsofdevelopment,thefunctiondemandsofNCsystemareimproved．Newfunctionalinterfacesaredesigned，suchastoolcompensationinterfaceandloo

5、k-aheadinterface．Thegrossstructureismodified．OntheaspectofimplementingtheversatilityofNCcodecompiler,onerealizedthinkingofdynamicexpansionispresentedtofurtherstudy．Thecontrolalgorithmofcontinuousinterpolationofminutepathsisinvestigated．Byusinglook-aheadalgorithm,spggdlook-aheadchip

6、isdesignedtoimplementcontinuousmachining，especiallythosecontinuousminutepaths．Afteranalyzingthemethodanditsdisadvantagesofsolvingdecelerationdistrictintraditionalaccelerationanddecelerationcontrolalgorithm,anewcontrolmethodofautomaticaccelerationanddecelerationisintroduced．Thisnewm
