4、entedthesubstationautomationfuturedevelopmentdirection.anditsimplementationwillcertainlypromotethesubstationautomationlevel.Firstly,thispaperpresentstheIEC61850standardarchitectureanditsmaincharacteristics,andthentheservicemodelsanditscorrespondingmappingservi
5、cesdefinedinthestandardareanalyzed.Accordingtothesubstationcommunicationnetworksperformancerequirements,thesubstationcommunicationnetworksstructurebasedontheIEC61850standardispresented;thefeasibilityofapplyingEthernettechnologytothesubstationcommunicationnetwo
