3、houghspeakerrecognitionsystemperformwellwhencleanspeechisusedfortrainingandtesting，theperformancedegradesrapidlywhenspeechusedinreal—worldconditions．ThefocusofthisresearcheffortistodeveloptechniquesfortrainingGMMparameters．AntColonyOptimization(ACO)isarandomsearchalgorithm．Similartoth

4、eotherevolutionaryalgorithms，itfindstheoptimalsolutionbasedontheevolutionaryprocessofcandidategroupofsearchingpaths．ACOspeedsuptheevolutionaryprocessbypositivefeedbackofpheromone．Itisalsoaparallelalgorithm．Throughcommunicationandtransferringamongtheants，theycouldcollaboratewitheachoth

5、erforfindingthebestpath．ACOiswidelyappliedonTravelingSalesmanProblem(TSP)andotheroptimizationproblems．AfteranalyzingthecurrentresearchesonspeakerrecognitionandAntColonyOptimization(ACO)algorithm，inthisthesis，introducingtheACOtotheparametertrainingprocessofGaussianmixturemodelforbuildi
