3、iorofFRP-confinedreinforcedconcrete(RC)columnsundereccentriccompressionandbehaviorofFRP-concrete·-steelhybriddouble··skintubularcolumnsunderaxialcompression..Themajorcontributionsoftheworkpresentedinthisthesisarelistedasfollows:(1)Aunifiedmodelforstress-str
4、ainrelationshipofcircularandrectangularconcreteconfinedwithH冲underaxialcompressionisproposedbasedontheoreticalanalysisandregressionanalysis.Thetheoreticalcorvesareingoodagreementwiththeexperimentalcurves.Afiniteelementmodel(FEM)forsimulatingthebehaviorofFRP
5、-confinedconcretecolumnsunderaxialcompressionisproposedbasedonselectingdifferentconcreteconstitutivemodelaccordingt0differentconfinementlevelandusinglayeredshelltosimulateFRP.ThenumericalresultsareingOOdagreementwiththeexperimentalresults.(2)Extensivecollec
6、tionandevaluationofexistingstrengthandultimatestrainmodelsforconcretecolumnsconfinedwithFRParepresented.Theresultsshowthatthepredictionforstrengthismoreaccuratethanthepredictionforultimatestrain.Amongtheseexistingmodels,thepredictionofCampione’Sstrengthmode
7、lforcircularspecimenswithstrain-hardeningandrectangularspecimenswithstrain-softeningaremoreaccurate,andthepredictionofDeLorenzis’Sultimatestrainmodelforcircularspecimensaremoreaccurate.BasedonmaintainingtheaccuracyofCampione’SstrengthmodelandDeLorenzis’Sult
