3、Meanwhilethebrittlenessofmagnetostrictivematerialcanbereducedbyresin.Thisgreatlyexpandedtheapplicationofgiantmagnetostrictivematerials.Basedonthebroadapplicationprospectsofmagnetostrictivecompositesinhigh-frequencydevices,eveninthefieldofultrasound,themagnetostrictivemultilayeredcomposi
4、tesandtheirsapplicationhasbeenresearched,asfollows.1.ThemagnetostrictionofTerfenol-Dmultilayeredmagnetostrictivecompositeshavebeencalculatedbasedonthemechanicaltheory.AndtheepoxybondedTerfenol-Dmultilayeredmagnetostrictivecompositeshavebeenprepared.Thestaticmagnetostrictionofsamplesandt
5、heprepresseffectoftheirmagnetostrictionhavebeenresearched.Thenthesampleswereannealedinthevacuumat423Kfor15minatthemagneticfieldof240kA/m.Effectsofthecompressivestressandthemagneticfieldheat-treatmentonthemagnetostrictionhavebeeninvestigated.Itisfoundthatthemagnetostrictionofthesamplesca
6、nbeimproved,especiallyunderthecompressivestress.2.ThemagnetostrictionofTerfenol-D/Fe-Gamultilayeredmagnetostrictivecompositeshasbeencalculatedbasedonelongatein-phasemodelandelongatefreenessmodel.ThecalculatingresultcanprovideaguidanceformanufactureofTerfenol-D/Fe-Gamultilayeredcomposite
