3、onintheenvironmentofWWW.Topicdistillationandexplorationaretwokeytechniquesinthiscontext.Thefirstpartofthisdissertationfocusesontheimprovementoftopicdistillationandexplorationwiththeaidofthelinkageanalysis.BasedonthesurveyofcurrentlinkageanalysisapplicationontheWbbsea
4、rchfield.asimilarity-basedmodelonlinkageanalysisisproposedandanalgorithmframeworkoftopicdistillationandexplorationisdevelopedbasedonthemodel.FromtheviewpointofinformationsupplyintheWWW:reducingbandwidthandavoidingboric—neckbecomekeyproblemsinthestudyofWWWapplications
5、.Webcachingbecamethepopularappliedtechniqueinsuchacontext.ThesecondpartofthisdissertationstudiesthePeer-to—PeercomputingmodelandproposesaW-ebcachingsystembasedonthearchitectureofPeevto—Peer.Themaincontributionsofthisdissertationareasfollows:1.Asurveyofthelinkage—anal
