3、lfofthestoryisthatcurrentsradiateandproduceelectromagneticwaves.Youmayalreadyhavestudiedthatsubject,orifyouwishtofurtheryourbackground,consultbooksonelectromagnetics.Thestudyofelectromagneticsgivesinsightintothemathematicsdescribingantennaradiationandprovidestherigortopreventmistakes.Weskipthe
4、discussionofthoseequationsandmovedirectlytopracticalaspects.Itisimportanttorealizethatantennasradiatefromcurrents.Designconsistsofcontrollingcurrentstoproducethedesiredradiationdistribution,calleditspattern.Inmanysituationstheproblemishowtopreventradiationfromcurrents,suchasincircuits.Whenever
