2、riends,很高兴出席欧屮经济论坛，感谢欧洲议会对这次活动的支持。FirstofallzIwishtothanktheEUparliamentforthesupportyou'vegiventothisEuro-ChinaEconomicForum・Itgivesmegreatpleasuretoaddressthisevent.经贸关系一直是中欧关系发展的支柱和动力，亳不夸张地说，中欧交往史就是在经贸活动中开启的。早在2000多年前，丝绸之路即把相隔万里的中国和欧洲联结在一起；700多年前，意大利商人马可•波罗撰写的中国游
3、记极大地促进了屮欧Z间的相互了解，而他去屮国的最初目的也是经商；57年前，一批英国商人冲破阻力，毅然与新中国发展商贸往来，成为当代中欧关系的“破冰者”。Inmyview,businesstieshavealwayssupportedandfacilitatedthegrowthofChina-EUrelations.OurcontactsandexchangesliterallybeganalongtheSilkRoadthatlinkedustogethersome2,000yearsago.Around700yearsag

5、ntemporaryChina-Europerelations.中欧建交35年来，双边经贸关系更是稳步发展，日臻成熟，成为中欧全面战略伙伴关系的重要组成部分和引擎。双边年贸易额从建交之初的24亿美元扩大到去年的3600多亿美元,增长了150多倍。现在两天的贸易额比1975年全年的贸易额还要多。相互投资从无到有，欧盟对华投资累计接近700亿美元，在华设立的企业超过两万家。近年來，中国企业対欧洲的兴趣也越來越浓，投资日趋活跃。今天，中欧经贸关系己成为世界上最重要的双边经贸关系么一：欧盟是屮国第一大贸易伙伴、出口市场和技术来源地，屮
6、国则是欧盟第二大贸易伙伴、最大进口来源地、第三大出口市场，同时也是欧盟出口增长最快的市场。EconomicandtraderelationsbetweenChinaandEuropehaveevolvedsteadilyoverthelast35yearssincetheestablishmentofourdiplomaticrelations.Suchever-strengtheningbusinesstieshavebecomeanintegralpartaswellasapowerengineofourcomprehen
7、sivestrategicpartnership・Theyearlybilateraltradevolumehasincreasedmorethan150foldsfrom2.4billionUSDollarsin1975tolastyear's360billion.Thatmeans,noweverytwodays,ourtradevolumeexceedsthatofthewholeyearin1975・Intermsofmutualinvestment,theEUhasintotalinvestednearly70bil
