4、ologyofcompetitionthatisrigorousenoughtobeofuseinthesystematicstudyofthisimportantsocialphenomenon.Bydefiningcompetitionshadow,weinvestigatetheinfluenceoftraitanxietyandcompetitionshadowonrivalestimation,stateanxiety,andperformance.Wedevelopanuancedperspectiveontheeffects
5、ofcompetitiononrivalestimationbyintegratingtraitanxiety,importance,anduncertaintyofoutcomes.Furthermore,wemergedthecompetitionshadowtheoryandspiritualcapitaltheorytoexplainwhyestimationofrivalsisvariedacrosspeople,groups,companiesandevennations.Throughoutthelaboratoryexpe
6、rimentalmethod,weexaminethemoderatinginfluenceofspiritualcapitalontraitanxietyandrivalestimation.Usinganexperimentalmethod,weexaminetheinfluenceofenvironmentalturbulenceonrivalestimationandultimatelyperformancewhileevaluatingtothemoderatingeffectofspiritualcapitaloncompet
7、itionshadowandrivalestimation.TheresultsofstructuralequationmodelingusingWarpPLSrevealthatafusioneffectoftraitanxietyandcompetitionshadowlowerthanthethresholdwouldincreasetheperformanceofindividualsperformingthecognitivetask.Conversely,overestimatingrivalsincreasescompeti
