3、achievingfabricationandclarifyingthepropertiesofLDHnanosheet/polyanioncompositefilms.Co-Al-CO3LDHhexagonalplateletsof4íminlateralsizeweresynthesizedbytheureamethodunderoptimizedreactionconditions.Theas-preparedCO32--LDHwasconvertedtoCl--LDHbytreatingwithaNaCl-HClmixedsolution,retainingitshi
4、ghcrystallinityandhexagonalplatelikemorphology.LDHsintercalatedwithavarietyofanions(suchasNO--3,ClO4,acetate,lactate,dodecylsulfate,andoleate)werefurtherpreparedfromCl--LDHviaananion-exchangeprocessemployingcorrespondingsalts.Exchangedproductsinvariousanionformswerefoundtoshowdifferentdelam
5、inationbehaviorsinformamide.Amongthem,bestresultswereobservedforNO3--LDHintermsoftheexfoliatingdegreeandthequalityoftheexfoliatednanosheets.Thedelaminationgaveapinktransparentsuspensioncontainingwell-definednanosheetswithlateralsizesofupto2ím.Theresultingnanosheetswereassembledlayer-by-laye
6、rwithananionicpolymer,poly(sodiumstyrene4-sulfonate)(PSS),ontoquartzglasssubstratestoproducecompositefilms.Magneticcirculardichroism(MCD)measurementsrevealedthattheassembledmultilayerfilmsexhibitedaninterestingmagneto-opticalresponse.Introductiontroactiveandphotoactivematerials,7andsoon.How
7、ever,manyoftheapplicationsarelargelyrestrictedduetotheinaccessibilityLayereddoublehydroxides(LDHs),alsoknownasanionictotheinnersurfacesofthehostlayers.Themosteffectiveorhydrotalcite-likeclays,areaclassoflamellarcompoundssolutiontothisproblemmaybedelamina
