3、1photoelectronspectroscopy(XPS).TheresultsshowthattheproperamountofYinthealloyscanimproveAvailableonline2June2011thecorrosionresistanceofAZ91alloyseffectively.WiththeincrementofY,thecorrosionrateofthemod-ifiedAZ91alloysbyYadditionwasmarkedlylessthanthatofAZ91alloy.ThecorrosionrateofAZ9
4、1alloywith0.3wt.%Ywastheslightest,butfurtheradditionofYcontentover0.3wt.%makethecorrosionhea-vier.TheXPSanalysissuggeststhatthecompoundfilmofAZ91alloywith0.3wt.%YismainlycomposedofMg(OH)2andMgCO3withoutanyAl(OH)3andAl2O3,inaddition,Y2O3phaseisfoundinthecompoundfilmofAZ91alloywith0.3wt.%
