4、svehicles,gunbarrelsandinboilingexperiments.Theheatflowinthesedevicesisusuallyquitehigh(hundredsofkilowattspersquaremeter)andveryunsteady.Thus,therequirementforaruggedandfastresponsetemperaturesensorisnecessaryfortheseapplications.ThecoaxialsensordesignisoriginallyproposedbyBender
5、skyOthersurfacesensorshavebeenfabricatedusingscratchesfromabrasivepaperorasharpimplement.Thesurfacesensorshavealsobeenmanufacturedusingtwoparallelwiresorribbonelements.Thecoaxialtemperaturesensorprovidesameasurementoftemperatureclosetothesurfaceofinterestbecauseoflowthermalinertia
6、ofitsjunction.Inordertoidentifytheinstantaneousheatfluxhistoryfromthemeasuredtemperaturehistory,itisnecessarytoapplyasuitableexperimentaltechniquetoacquiretheaccurateandsinglevalueofthethermalproductofeachparticularsensorundertransientheatconductionprocess.Alltemperaturesensorsuse
