3、tioninformationofdes-tinationnodes.Alocationserviceisusefulnotonlyinsupportinggeographicrouting,butalsoinsupportingotherlocationrelatedservicesthatwillplayanimportantroleinthefuturewirelessmarket.Aftertheintroductionofthegeographicrouting,severallocationserviceprotocolshavebeenpropos
4、edsincethebeginningofthiscentury.However,theseprotocolsbearsomelimitations,especiallyinMANET.Oneofthelimitationsisthattownodesmayneedtotravelalongdistancetogetthecorrespondinglocationinformationwhentheyareactuallyclose.Wecallthisproblemlocalityoptimizeproblem.Toattackthisproblemsyste
5、mically,wedefinetheconceptofLocalityBoundedasthetheoreticalbasisofourwork.Inthispaper,weintroduceanewlocationservicealgorithmbasedonflathash.ThealgorithmisnamedHTL(HashTableLocalized).Thisalgorithmisbasedonanovelmethodtodividethephysicalspace.Theprinciplesarehere:First,abinaryhashfunct
6、ionisusedtomapanodetoageographicposition.Andthen,usingthispositionascoordinationcenter,drawcircleswithradiusd×i,wherei=1,2,3,···,,anddisthemajorparameterofouralgorithm.Accordingtoitsradius,acircleisdividedintoseveralpartsbylines,thecirclesandthelinesdividingthecirclestoformalatticesp
7、ace.Basedonlattices,wedefinethedisseminationandqueryprocess.Todisseminateitslocationinformation,anodefirstformssuchalatticespace,andthencalculatesitscorrespondinglocationinthislatticespace.Itthendisseminatesitslocationinformationtothelineclosesttoit.Toquerylocationinformationofacertain
