2、reticalderivationspresentedintheirworkareindeedcorrect,theanalysisoftheproposedboundandtheconclusionsthatfollowarewrong.Here,acorrectanalysisispresentedwiththekeyobservationthat[asopposedtotheclaimmadeintheworkofRisticetal.(2004)],theproposedCRLBreflectstheinteractionbetweenthetargets,e
3、veniftheirmotionisindependent.Themulti-targetCRLBisalsocomparedwiththeerrorperformanceofamulti-targetstatemaximumlikelihoodestimator;aremarkableagreementisobservedforhighsignal-to-noiseratio.1Introductionmainideainthisapproachistouserawdatabeforedetec-tionthresholdingasmeasurements,asi
