2、lopmentismovingtowardsminiaturization.Attentionstransferawayfromthefamiliarconventionalscaletotheunfamiliarmicro/nano-scale,especiallyinmicro-mechanicalsystems(MEMS)andnano-materialfields.Thisarticleappliedphase-fieldmethodandestablishedatwo-phasemicroscalemodeltoachievethewater-liquidtwo-phasefl

3、uiddynamicsimulation,whichwasbasedonthelaminarmultiphaseflowtheory.Itstudiedthemanipulationtechnologyofwater-in-oil(W/O)dropletsimmersedinsiliconeoil.Thedetailcontentsarelistedasbelow:Firstly,thesurfacetensionwasintroducedintoN-Sequationonthebasisoftwo-phaselaminarflowtheory,andthephaseinterfaceb

4、etweentwoliquidswasdeterminedthroughthefunctionΦ.Secondly,consideringtheimpactsofmicropillararraysarrangedinsidemicrochannel,weinvestigatedthetrajectoryanddeformationofdroplets,thevelocitiesofdropletswithdifferentsizes,thepositionsofdropletsreleasedfromthelastmicropillar.Next,westudiedthemergingo

5、ftwodropletsaswellasthemixingoftwodifferentconcentrationsub-regionsinsideonedroplet.Finally,wealsoinvestigatedthedividingofdropletsbyawedge-shapedobstacleinthecasethatthesurfacetensionisdominantforce.Theresultsshowthatthemicro-pillararrayembeddedinmicrochannelhasagreatimpactforthemovementofdrople
