5、salsoafeasiblewaytOimprovesystemperformance，suchasMultipleInputMultipleOutputOvtlMO)andOrthogonalFrequencyDivisionMultiplexing(OFDM)thatarewidelyusedinthenextgenerationmobilecommunicationsystems．Thesetechnologiesgreatlyincreasetheflexibilityandcomplexityofadaptiveresourceallocationwhileimprovingsys

6、temperformance．Therefore，theeffectiveradioresourceallocationalgorithmsplayanimportantroleinwirelesscommunications．Adaptivesub-carriersallocationalgorithmforthedownlinkofMIMO-OFDMsystemisstudiedandtheperformanceofthealgorithmisevaluatedbythemetricsincludingcapacity,fairnessandcomputationalcomplexity

7、．Thechanneloneachsub．carrierisviewedasafiatfadingMIM0channelandanewOFDMsub-carrierallocationalgorithmintheMIMOenvironmentsisproposed．ThepurposeofthealgorithmistOimprovethespectralefficiencyandtOenhancethefairnessbetweenusers．Theproposedalgorithmcarriesouttheallocationofsub·carrierswiththeproportion

8、alfairnessconstraintstrictlyfollowedfirstlyandthenthesub-carriersareswappedbetweenusersrepeatedlyuntilthecapacitycan’tbeincreased．Asaresult,thecapacityisfurtherimprovedwiththeproportionalfairnessguaranteed．Simulationshowsthatthealgorithmcanimprovethecapacityeffectivelycomparedwithproportionalresour
