3、swork.Themodelcombinestheequivalentsingle-layerapproachformechanicaldis-placementsandalayerwise-typemodellingoftheelectricpotential.Particularattentionisdevotedtotheboundaryconditionsontheoutsidefacesandtotheinterfacecontinuityconditionsofthebimorphsfortheelectromechanicalvariables.S

4、hearcorrectionfactor(k)isintroducedtomodifyboththeshearstressandtheelectricdisplacementofeachlayer.Andthedetailedmathematicalderivationsarepresented.Freevibrationproblemofsimplysupportedpiezoelectricbimorphswithseriesorparallelarrangementisinvestigatedfortheclosedcircuitcondition,and
