4、2003,14(2):247~252.Abstract:Thepurposeofgooddatabaselogicaldesignistoeliminatedataredundancyandinsertion,deletionandupdateanomalies.Fortemporaldatabases,temporalschemesmaybenormalizedbyusingconstraintsoftemporalfunctionaldependencies(TFDs)withmultipletemporalgranulariti
5、es.However,theadoptionoftemporaldimensionandusageofmultipletemporalgranularitiesmakeitverycomplicatedtodesignatemporaldatabase.Generally,thesetoftemporaltypesthatcanbeprocessedbyasystemandinvolvedinlotsofapplications,meettotallyorderedrelation,andthesetofTFDswithatotall
6、yorderedsetoftemporaltypesiscloselyrelatedtotheArmstrongaxiomsoftraditionalfunctionaldependencies(FDs).ByanalyzingtheexistingrelationshipsbetweenTFDsandFDsandutilizingcorrespondingalgorithmsfortraditionalsetofFDs,someimportantalgorithmssuchasmembershipandfiniteclosureof
