2、jtu.edu.cn)AbstractTosolvetheproblemsuchastoomanymodels,longcomputingtimeandsoon,ahierarchicalmultiplemodelsdirectadaptivedecouplingcontrollerisdesigned.Itconsistsofmultiplelevels.Intheupperlevel,thebestmodelischosenaccordingtotheswitchingindex.Thenmultiplefixedmodelsareconstructedonlinetocovert
3、heregionwhichtheabovechosenfixedmodelliesin.Inthelastlevel,onefree-runningandonere-initializedadaptivemodelareaddedtoguaranteethestabilityandimprovethetransientresponse.Byselectionoftheweightingpolynomialmatrix,itnotonlyeliminatesthesteadyoutputerrorandplacesthepolesoftheclosedloopsystemarbitrar
4、ily,butalsodecouplesthesystemdynamically.Atlast,forthismultiplemodelsswitchingsystem,globalconvergenceisobtainedundercommonassumptions.Comparedwiththeconventionalmultiplemodelsadaptivecontroller,itreducesthenumberofthefixedmodelsgreatly.Ifthesamenumberofthefixedmodelsisused,thesystemtransientresp
