4、maltreatment.TheinvestigationofphotocatalyticabilityshowedthattheAg/TiO2nanoheterostructurespossessanexcellentphotocatalyticactivitysuperiortothepureTiO2nanofiberforthedegradationofRhodamineB(RB)dyedrivenbyvisiblelight.TheresultsindicatedthatAgmightberesponsiblefort

5、hevisiblelightinducedphotocatalyticdegradationbyimprovingthephotogeneratedelectronsandholesseparationaswellaschargemigration,allowingboththeelectronsandholestopartakeintheoverallphotocatalyticreaction.Inaddition,Aghasagoodlightabsorptioncapability,extendingtherespon

6、seofTiO2tovisiblelight.Finally,thecorrespondingpossiblemechanismrelatedtothephotocatalyticperformanceoftheAg/TiO2nanoheterostructureswasdiscussedindetail.Additionally,theseparationandrecoveryprocessoftheAg/TiO2nanoheterostructuresmightbeeasilyacheivedbysedimentation
