2、eatsignificancetoimprovecompetitiondirectlyoftheproductsandreducelaborcosts.Inthisinevitabletrend,packagingmachineryindustryarisesatthehistoricmoment.Packagingmachineryindustryinvolvesawiderangeofindustries,includingfoodindustry,dailychemicalindustry,andtextileindustries,absolutely,carpetindustryb

3、elongstoit.Itistherealizationoftheautomationofthecarpetpackagingmachinethatwillplayanimportantroleonthepromotingofthedevelopmentofcarpetindustry.Thispaperintroducesthedesignandresearchofakindofcontrolsystemofcommercialcarpetpackagingmachine.Theprojecthasaccomplishedthedesignonthecontrolsystemwhich

4、isbasedonMitsubishiQseriesPLC,drivenbyelectriccontrol,andcompletedtheactionsofthecommercialcarpetpackagingmachinefromtakingandpackingboxestothefinishedproducthandlingsection.Thispapermainlysummarizesthestateofrecentpackagingmachineryautomationandtheprospectoftheapplicationoftheprogrammablecontroll

5、erinthefieldofpackagingmachinery.ThroughtheanalysisofthewholeprocessofanoldcarpetpackingmachinewhichwasdesignedbyJapanesein1980s,wedesignedanewkindofcontrolsystem，optimizedtheperformanceofthewholepackingline.Weselectedthemodelofthemaincontrolcomponents,designedelectricalsystem;designedtheladderdia
