6、however,theeasewiththeymustsignapledgetocarryouttheroyalwhichtherebellionwascrushedinalittleoverpolicyofindulgenceorbedischarged.AllbuttwothreeweeksledtheKingontothepaththatofficersandahandfulofprivatesimmediatelyendedinhisexile.JameshadincreasedtheArmybytwentyregi•ments.Ofthese
