4、ntheacidolysishydrocarbonresultsofsamplesobtainedfromlegODP204,1250Csite.Wehaveanalyseddatafromseveralsitesandinvestigatedthepatternsofgashydratedepositsinthearea,andtheoriginofthegashydrate.Theresultsofthisresearchshowthatthegeochemicalanomaliesofgaseoushydrocarbonindi
5、catrixaremainlydistributedinthesouthernslopeoftheareastudied.ThisiscloselyrelatedtotheseismicBSRmarkerandtothedevelopmentoftheruptures;andthatthecauseofformationofsubma-rinesedimentarygaseoushydrocarbonmethaneintheXishaoceantroughismainlyascribedtopyrolysis.Wediscussthe
6、fault-filteringandcomprehensiveformationpatternofthegashydrate,whichreasonablyexplainstheinconsistencyoftheBSRzonewiththehighvalueanomalyzoneofseabedmethane,andpredictssomefa-vorableprospectingareas.Theresultsalsoprovidethegeochemicalevidencefortheexplorationofthegashy-
