4、hhasdifferentsamplingratesinvariousstagesofthefilteringoperation.Thisclassoffiltersincludesdecimators,interpolators,andnarrow-bandlow-passfiltersimplementedwithdecimation,low-passfiltering,andinterpolation.Amultistageimplementationofthesefiltershasthesampleratechangedinseveralstepswhereeach

5、stepisacombinedfilteringandsampleratechangeoperation.CrochiereandRabiner[1]-[4]gavethestandardmultistagedesignmethodforthesefilterswhichhaseachstageasalow-passfilterwhereoneoptimallychoosesthedecimation(orinterpolation)ratioateachstage.Adesignmethodwaspresentedin[5]whichusesadifferentdesign
