3、sepoetryHeideggerunderstandsasgiving‘voice’toBeinginapeculiarproximity.ForHeidegger,Hölderlin’sarticulationsarenotthoseofasubject‘expressing’ameaning(accordingtotheclassicaltheoryoflanguagefromAristotletoHusserl),butratherthoseofapoetwhose‘remembrance’
4、recallsasenseofBeingmetaphysicshasforgotten.HeideggerarguesthatHölderlin’slanguageisofBeing,beyondtheselfasdefinedbyhumanistnotionsofsubjectivitywhichreduceBeing,alongwithbeings,tothesubject’sobjectifyingexamination.In“dialogue”withpoeticlanguage,Heide
5、gger’sphilosophyaimstoachieveagenuinethinkingofBeing,aswellasGelassenheit,whichisthestanceofreceptivity.AccordingtoHeidegger,onlythepoeticpoweroflanguageisabletoopenupanhistoricalworld.Itdoesthisbyawakeningabasicmoodinthepeopleandleaving“theunsayableun
6、said”insaying.Heideggertakeshisessentialconceptoflanguageassuchfrompoeticlanguage.Everydaylanguage,communication,statementsareforHeideggernotlanguageinaprimarysense,butpoetryasthe“originarylanguageofapeople”is,comparedtowhichlanguageintheconventionalse
7、nseasunderstoodbytheoriesoflanguageandinlinguisticsisonlyaninsipiddilution.(Theconceptofthe“originary”historicaltimeofthepeoplesisthereforethetimeofthepoets,thinkersandcreatorsofstates,i.e.ofthosewhoproperlyfoundandreinforcethehistoricalexistenceofapeo
