2、ergyandsoon.Terahertzwaveiswidelyusedinmanyfieldslikebiomedicine,communications,publicsafety,nondestructivetestingandmilitary.Duetothedevelopmentofnewtechnologiesandnewmaterials,terahertztechnologyisgettingmoreandmorepopularandaterahertzresearchboomhasbe
3、enbroughtoutaroundtheworld.Althoughgreatprogresshasbeenmadeinstudyingandunderstandingofterahertzradiation,theterahertzisstillveryhardtobedetected.Undertheabovebackground,the32-channelterahertzpyroelectricdetectorhasbeentakenasthemainstudyobject.Theanalog
4、todigitalconversionandhighspeedtransmissionoftheterahertzsignalshavebeenachievedbyusingtheFPGA(Field-ProgrammableGateArray)asthelogiccontrolunitandthroughtheADCchipAD7490andEthernettransmissionchipDM9000Aunderlyingprogramdevelopmentanddesign.Finallytheso
5、ftwareplatformoftheterahertzdetectionsystemcorrespondingwiththehardwarehasbeensuccessfullydevelopedthroughtheuseofMFClibrary.Thedetailsareasfollows:Firstly,theworkingprincipleofpyroelectricterahertzdetectorswereintroducedandthenapreparationmethodofpyroel
6、ectricterahertzdetectorswith32channelsbasedonlithiumtantalatefilmsbyusingthewaysofmechanicalpolishingandsemiconductorprocessinghasbeenputforward.Secondly,aterahertzdetectionhardwaresystemincludingapreamplifiermodule,ananalogtodigitalconversionmodule,adat
7、atransmissionmoduleandacontrolmodulebasedonFPGAwasbuilt,andthentheunderlyingdriverofthechipsandthecontrollogicofthesystemwerecompletedbyfinishingthedesignofFPGA.Intermsofdatatransmission,theethernettransportsolutionwithhightransmissionspeed,compatibility
8、,andlowcostwaschosenasthedatatransmissionmodeofdetectionsystembycomparingwithserialtransmissionandPCI-Etransmission.Finally,asoftwareplatformoftheTHzdetectionsystemwasbuiltbyusingtheMicrosoftFoundationClassLibrary,whichhas
