4、terogeneoussystemswithavailabilityconstraints.Inanefforttoexplorethisissue,wewilltrytooptimizeanexistingschedulingalgorithmusingastochasticoptimizationtechniquecalledParticleSwarmOptimization.Thenewoptimizedschedulingalgorithmshallimprovetheavailabilityofheterogeneoussystemswhi
5、lemaintainifiggoodperformanceintheresponsetimeoftasks.Experimentalresultsshowthatoaralgorithmachievesagoodtrade—offbetweenavailabilityandresponsiveness.1.2GridComputingTheproliferationoftheInternetandtheavailabilityofpowerfulcomputersandhigh--speednetworksaslow--costcommodityco
