2、ereatthemiddleofJune，themiddleofJulyandtheearlyAugustrespectively,andthehighpinkwasatthelastofOctober．Z．sinicahasthreepinksin2005，inwhichtwolowpinkswereatthemiddleofJuneandlastofJulytotheearlyAugust，andthehighpinkwasatthelastofOctober．z．matrellahasonlyonepinkatthemiddleofJune．In

3、thesefourspecies，thediseaseindexofZ．japonicaandZsinicaarethehighest，andtheirperiodofpathogenywasfromthemiddleMaytODecember．Ontheaveragediseaseindexin2005，theseverityofrustonthesefourspeciesrankedasfollowed：z．japonica>Z．sinica>Z．matrella>ztenuifolia．Acordingtotheregularityofrust，

4、thekeydiseasecontrolperiodsare：wintering,middleofJunetoearlyJuly，andearlyautumn．2．RustresistancegeneticinheritanceandimplovementofZoysiaWilld．Campestralrustinvestigationwascardedon52hybridsandparentsof14zoysiacrosscombinations，theresultsshowedthat：theperiodofpathogenyofamajority
