5、nacidicpHwashigherascomparedtoalkalinepH.TheWatertreatmentLangmuirandFreundlichequilibriumadsorptiondatafittedreasonablywellinbothLangmuirandFreundlichisothermmodels.Itwasadsorptionisothermsalsoobservedthatinthepresenceofcertainco-existingionscanhavepositiveeffectonremovaloffluoride,Kineticmodelingw
6、hilecarbonateandbicarbonateanionsshowdeleteriouseffect.Therateofadsorptionwasreasonablyrapidandmaximumfluorideuptakewasattainedwithin30min.Themodifiedadsorbentmaterialshowsbetterfluorideremovalpropertiesforactualfieldwater,whichcouldbeduetothepositiveeffectofotherco-ionspresentinthefieldwater.©2009Else
