3、einregionsofmissingimageinformation.Inordertoinpaintthedamagedimagewithbothmissingthestructureandtextureinformation,animageinpaintingalgorithmbasedonwaveletdecompositionispresented.Firstthedamagedimageisdecomposedintostructuresub-imageandtexturesub-imageusingthewavelettransf

4、ormation.Then,thesub-imagewiththeregionofmissinginformationinthestructureisreconstructedbyCurvature-DrivenDiffusions(CDD)algorithm,whilethesameregioninthetexturesub-imageisfilled-inwiththeimprovedtexturesynthesisbasedonexemplar;Finally,therestoredimageisgivenbyrecombiningthe

5、structureandtexturerestoredresults.Alargenumberofexperimentsshowthattheproposedalgorithmcanquicklyandefficientlyrestorethestructureandtextureinformationatthesametime,andthevisualeffectsandthePeakSignaltoNoiseRatio(PSNR)isbetterthanthesimilaralgorithms.©2011PublishedbyElsevie
